On Saturday August thirtieth 3014, I had woke up from my sleep at seven-thirty in the morning and I had stood up on the left side of my bed to sit down in my wheelchair. So I had wheeled in my bath room to wash myself and then I had dried myself too. Then I had wheeled back in my bed room to put on my light white shorts and I had put on my white tee-shirt and I had put on my white socks and my right leg brace and I had put on my shoes too. Then I had opened my bed room door and so I had wheeled out to the kitchen so I had ate one cut up waffle with maple syrup poured on it and I had a egg too to eat and I had a big cup of orange juice to drink and I had a cup of coffee to drink too. After I had ate my breakfast I had wheeled back across the living room and then I had wheeled into my bed room to open my closet and I had got my dark blue vest on then I had wheeled out of my bed room to talk to a resident for a while I had told him that I had rode to Salem Willows with some people from my program called outside the line studio. When me and my friends had arrived at Salem Willows we had got out of the dark blue van and we had weny around Salem Willows a while and we had pat a few dogs as well and I were pushed in my wheelchair past a lot of different restaurant too

Every 22 second one person in the United states sustains a brain injury. An estimated 5.3 Americans a little more then 2% of the population lives with a disability resulting from a brain injury. Many of the survivors are adolescent and young adults who have extensive residential deficits often resulting in a loss in social networks and friendships. Each year in Massachusetts over 32,500 people receive emergency room treatments for traumatic brain injury. Annually over 500 die More then 50,000 people die every year as a result of a traumatic brain injury.  About 5.3 million Americans a little more then 2% of the population live with a disability resulting from a brain injury. SOBI (survivors of brain injuries)  was started in march 2004 by voluntary groups of multidisciplinary clinicians to meet the needs of young adults with brain injuries. It is a community group that meet mouthy to provide social  and recreation activities  in a supportive environment.

                                What is an externally cause                                                                  traumatic brain-injuries      
An externally cause of traumatic brain-injury is due to a jolt or a blow to the head from an external physical force. Brain function can be disrupted by an injury in a automobile crash, serious falls, gunshots, or a assault with a deadly weapon.  Soldiers may sustain a traumatic brain-injury from an explosion or a shockwave. These kinds of events may result in significant cognitive behavioral  or social challenged.  Some examples of brain-injuries that is not externally caused and unfortunately would not meet the state wide head-injury criteria is a stroke, lack of oxygen and brain tumors

                                        Living with a brain-injury.

Every year 51,000 Massachusetts residents sustain a brain-injury most often in automobile crashes and bad falls.  It can happen to any one and no two brain-injuries are alike. If you or a love one notices issues with memory loss, trouble concentrating, finding words to say, and controlling  your temper you may had a traumatic brain-injury and benefit by the state wide head-injury services.

                         Bainstem-the lower extension of the brain where it connects to the spinal cord. Neurological functions located in the brainstem includes those that are necessary for survival breathing, digestion,, heart rate, blood preasure, and for arousal(being awake and alert. Most of the cranial nerves comes from the brain stem. The brain stem is the path way for all of the fibers tracts passing up and down from peripheral. This can inter  nerves and spinal cord to the highest parts of the brain        

the Cerebellum- is the portion of the brain( located  at the back) which helps coordinate movement, balance, and muscle coordination)  Damage may result in ataxia which is a problem of muscle coordination This can interfere with a person ability to walk, talk, eat and to perform other self care task.

On Saturday August sixteen 2014 I had woke up from my sleep at seven-thirty in the morning and I had got up on my left side of my bed to stand up and then I sat down in my wheelchair. So then I had wheeled my wheelchair into my bath room to wash and dry myself too. Later when I had my dark red shorts on and my white tee-shirt on too. two female staff people came into my bed room to help me to put on my socks right leg brace and my shoes too then the would help me put on me dark blue vest too. Later I had wheeled out of my bed room door and then I had lock my bed room door with my key that is on my key chain So then I had wheeled across the dining room floor and then I had wheeled out of the front door and I had wheeled across the sundeck and then I had wheeled down the long cemented ramp and then I had backed up into the garage to get on my dark red four big wheel motor scooter. So then I  had drove across the two very, very, long wide parking lot and so I had drove into the dunking donuts restaurant and then I had order a breakfast scrambled eggs and chopped stake beriberi  and a cup of warm hazel nut coffee and then I had ate and drank at a table in side the dunking donuts restaurant. A while later my friend would walk into the dunking donuts restaurant and he had gave me a news paper how they are adding alot of ramps and better curb cuts to Beacon Hill and that made me happy Because I would ride to Somerville community cable on every Monday afternoon at twelve-thirty and I would take a copy of the booklet of Beacon Hill rejecting ramps and better curb cuts to the two TV cameras that is in the   television studio at Somerville community cable  and I would leave a few copies there and on April eight 2014 I would take a copy to the Spaulding rehab with me and show  the booklet there too and on Wednesday June twenty-fifth 2014 I had took a copy to my cam to and I had left the booklet on the bulletining board in the kitchen at camp Jabberwocky when I had came back from camp Jabberwoccky on Monday morning on July seventh 2014 so I had been trying to get the word out there that Beacon  Hill do need alot of ramps and better curb cuts to. the past is gone it is history get on it they should face the present there are much much more people with disabilities and some are in manual wheelchairs, some are in electric wheelchairs some are walking with crutches or cane and there are some disable people that is in a manual wheelchair like myself that wants to visit Beacon Hill some day.Every twenty-two second one person in the United States sustains a head injury. It is a community group that meets monthly provide social and recreation  activities in a supportive environment.  At ten o"clock that morning a resident from my   house came into the dunking donuts restaurant in his electric wheelchair to order himself a cup of hassle nut coffee and he drove his electric wheelchair over at the same table I was at then we were drinking our coffee"s and talking to my friend named Ralf I thanked him for the newspaper too.  Later at ten thirty I drove back to my house me in my dark red four big wheels motor scooter and a resident named Peter C in his electric Wheelchair.

In the year of nine-teen ninety in the winter me and my parents had rode done to Boca Raton Florida we staid in a Condo minim then for four or five month and I had to walk around the whole block while holding on to my four prong cane. One day my mother were reading in the news paper about a lady that wanted to sell a light brown three big wheel motor scooter for five hundred dollar so my mother had said to me George do you want me to buy it then I  had said yes please so my mother had drove her car to get the light brown motor scooter.When I had got a light brown three big wheel motor scooter I had drove it around the block at my parent Condo in Boca Raton Florida, When my parents had  rode to our house in thirty-eight Dexter street in Medford my parents did not mind me drive my three big wheel light brown motor scooter across the street because  it was fast and I had took my light brown three big wheel motor scooter up to our house in Bartlet New Hampshire so that I could drive my three big wheel light brown motor scooter down the rode from my parents house and they did not mine because I were real careful where I had drove it too,
