On Friday October first 2004 that morning at seven o:clock I had woke up from my bed to go in my wheelchair and then I had wheeled in to my bathroom. So in my bathroom I had locked my brake to get up out of my wheelchair to take my shower. After my shower I got dried off and then I had sat back down in my wheelchair to wheel out of my bathroom. Then I had got back up from my wheelchair to get my clothe out of my draw so that I could get dress sitting in my blue recliner chair of course. After I had got all dress in my long tan paints and I had wore my american flag tea-shirt and socks and shoes too. Later I had wheeled out to the kitchen to pour me some cereal like I always do. So I had took my bowl of cereal over to the table and a male staff person had brought my full coffee cup over to where I were sitting. When I was all done I had put my empty cup and bowl in the sink. A few minutes later I had wheeled to my bedroom to brush my teeth and brush my hair too. Then I had wheeled outside to wait for my van to drive in to my drive way. A half of an hour later I had arrived at my work place. At my work place I had to count fifty styrofoam plates but first I had to wash my hands in the mens room and put on my hairnet after. Right when I am about to go up to the kitchen for my lunch I would ask if I could walk up the hall way to the kitchen to eat my lunch. So when a staff walks me to the kitchen he or she have to make me wear that gait belt. Now I thing that it is ok if I walks by myself. Because I am walking with a much wider walkcane now and I am wearing a leg brace too. It is not like I want to fall. But every day I would try not to fall I walk steady and straight. When I get home in the McLaughlin house I would only walk alone in my bedroom. But a staff person would walk me around holding on to the gait belt. But when I am going out to the kitchen I do not mine going out in my wheelchair. Because I could bring a full bowl of cereal to the table or a empty plate and glasses to the sink. But I would like to do alot more walking that is true.
